NOVEMBER 2010

The Ravens played hosts to the Dolphins on Nov 7 and raised their record to 6-2 with a 26-10 victory. Billy Cundiff kicked four FGs as the Ravens offense sputtered in the red zone. The 5GUYS were joined by Will Doub & Jake Anderson and enjoyed a tailgate feast with italian sausages and burgers.

The Ravens then split road games, losing to Atlanta 26-21 and defeating Carolina 37-13. The Carolina win was sealed by two Ravens interception returns for TDs in the fourth quarter. Dave and Donna Kotowski and Dave's dad did the roadtrip to Carolina to witness the victory!
The Ravens ended the month with a 17-10 home victory over the Bucs highlighted by a 65 yard Flacco-to-Heap TD pass. Next week the Ravens battle the Steelers in a Sunday night matchup at M&T Bank Stadium with the winner moving into first place in the AFC North.

OCTOBER 2010: GAMES 6 & 7

The Ravens split overtime games to end the month. After a tough 23-20 OT loss to the New England Patriots in Foxboro, the Ravens outlasted the Buffalo Bills 37-34 to up their home record to 3-0. The 5GUYS had an awesome tailgate and were entertained by the Ravens Marching Band! The game also included a celebration of the 10 anniversary of the 2000 Raven Super Bowl Championship team.

OCTOBER 2010: GAMES 4 & 5

The Ravens started the month of October with a last second 17-14 win against the Steelers in Pittsburgh. TJ Houshmandzadeh caught the winning TD and saluted the stunned Steeler fans. Sweet!!!

The next week the Ravens were back at home and convincingly defeated the Broncos 31-17. It was wives day at the game as Jean Rafferty and Donna Kotowski joined the guys.
Marty Bass also brought his wife Sharon!

GAME 3: Ravens 24 - Browns 17 (Home opener)

After splitting road games against the Jets (10-9 win) and Bengals (15-10 loss), the Ravens hosted the Browns in their 2010 home opener and used three Joe Flacco to Anquan Boldin TD passes to post a 24-17 victory.

The FIVE GUYS plus Jeff & Jake Anderson and friends enjoyed the tailgate feast despite a little rain. Paul's tent came in handy:) Bryan & Paul manned the grill and cooked up some delicious beef tips!! Shrimp, mashed potatoes, tomatoes and pineapple-upside down cake were other menu highlights.

The rain stopped just in time for the pre-game festivities including the Warthog flyover (below).

Check out the CHAIN GANG video (above)..... "Move those chains"! This game shot (above) is one of the TD passes from Flacco to Boldin. The FIVE GUYS (right) reflect on the victory back at Howard's. Next week it's off to Pittsburgh to thump the Steelers!!

GAME 16: RAVENS 21 - RAIDERS 13

Willis McGahee rushed for three TDs including a 77-yarder that featured a punishing stiffarm that leveled a Raider DB and led the Ravens to 21-13 victory and into the NFL playoffs!
The Raven's rookie LB Dannell Ellerbe finished off the Raiders when he ended two 4th quarter Oakland drives with an interception and a fumble recovery.
Now it's on to the playoffs and a rematch with the New England Patriots in Foxboro. Hopefully the Ravens will reverse the outcome and move on face the Dolts next week in Indy!

GAME 14: RAVENS 31 - BEARS 7

The Ravens gave all their fans an early Christmas gift as they turned four Chicago Bears turnovers into touchdowns and cruised to a 31-7 victory. The win put the Ravens at 8-6 and in the top wildcard spot in the AFC with two games to play in the season.

On a cold afternoon, one day after the largest December snowstorm in area history, Joe Flacco tossed four TD passes (two to Heap & one each to Mason and Demetius Williams) to lead the Ravens to the win.

With some of the guys out of town, the 5GUYS’ seats in section 540 were manned by Ron and his brother John and nephew Dan, along with Bryan & Billy Brown. Some of the guys did their pre-game 'Festivus' celebration at the Firehouse ( the Italian sausage was awesome) where they managed to drink for free (long story..)!

Marty braved the cold temps and enjoyed the victory (pictured with John Doub) after he spent the day before manning the ‘Snow Desk’ and reporting the blizzard of 2009 at WJZ. And Santa was in section 540 spreading his Christmas cheer and high-fives after every Ravens touchdown!

The Ravens continue their run to the playoffs next Sunday with a showdown in Pittsburgh with the hated Steelers…GO RAVENS and MERRY CHRISTMAS!
